Leading with Intent by I.Liv – December Newsletter

Celebrating I.Liv's 2024 milestones, wins, and what's ahead for 2025—plus a powerful year-end reflection tip to start the new year strong!

As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on an extraordinary year of growth, partnerships, and impact at I.Liv Performance Inc. Through our programs, events, and innovations, we’ve reaffirmed our commitment to empowering women and redefining professional performance in organizations. Let’s celebrate the highlights of this transformative year.

1. Partnership with The Prosperity Project

We began the year by joining forces with The Prosperity Project, a milestone that holds a special place in our journey. This collaboration aligns with our mission to empower women in the workforce and increase their presence in leadership roles. Together, we’re addressing the real challenges women face and creating opportunities for growth and success.

2. Launch of EURO/CANADA Private Cohorts

This year marked the successful launch of our first EURO/CANADA private cohorts. These diverse groups brought women leaders together, creating a ripple effect of empowerment within their organizations. A special highlight was Nicole Salloum’s personal win, which led to impactful results for Farmboy—a testament to the transformative potential of our programs.

3. Equity in AI at CGI

At the inspiring CGI event in collaboration with Microsoft, we introduced the “Make Room for AI through I.Liv” presentation. This session focused on equipping women with the tools and confidence to lead advancements in AI, ensuring they remain at the forefront of innovation.

4. SheBoot Cohort Recognition

We were honored to be one of 14 Canadian companies selected for the prestigious SheBoot program. This recognition solidifies our leadership among women-led startups and underscores our role in driving innovation and entrepreneurship in Canada.

5. SWE Masterclass with Ciena

Our partnership with the Society of Women Engineers resulted in a standout event hosted by Ciena. Attendees engaged with our Masterclass on transitioning from “current-self” to “future-self,” gaining tools for personal agility and strategic growth. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with participants eager to implement their learnings.

6. Launch of “Lead for Outcomes”

We turbo charged our Agile-for-Life methodology with Susan Colantuono’s leadership expertise, creating a tech-powered leadership development program that build true leaders at every level.

7. Collision and SaaS North Representation

We were thrilled to attend the Collision Conference, North America’s fastest-growing tech event. This gathering of Fortune 500 companies and startups solidified our role as a leader in tech-powered professional development solutions. At SaaS North, we proudly supported other founders from SheBoot, participated in thought-provoking discussions, and explored the evolving tech landscape. Our involvement reinforced our position as innovators in digital performance solutions.

8. Botsford Associates Partnership

This year, we celebrated our first corporate cohort in partnership with Botsford Associates. By integrating I.Liv’s tech-powered system, Botsford has set a new benchmark for balancing productivity with fulfillment, well-being, and success.

9. Expansion of Leadership Team

As I.Liv continues to grow and reach new heights, we are strengthening our foundation to deliver even greater value to our clients and partners. In January, we welcomed Val Escobedo as our Head of Communications, Content, and Digital Marketing Strategy, and Summer Ireland officially joined as a Board Advisor. Later in November, Ruth McGuire joined as our Business Development team, further enhancing our capacity to drive impactful change.

As we look to the future, our focus remains on building leadership partnerships and expanding our reach. Here’s what’s on the horizon:

  1. Ottawa U Executive MBA Alumni Collaboration: Launching ready-mode solutions tailored for organizational and individual performance.
  2. Delivering “Lead for Outcomes”: Extending our proven system to new organizational partners.
  3. Pursuing ICF Certification for “Lead for Outcomes”: Elevating our authority and impact in leadership development.
  4. Leadership Workshops: Organizing transformative workshops for leaders in partnership with established organizations that support the growth and success of their employees.
  5. Expanding Corporate and Private Cohorts!

Performance Boost Tip: Set a Date with 2024-You to Chart Your Course for 2025

True success starts with defining what it looks like for you. The year-end holidays are the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect, and reset yourself, but the time to do this won’t magically appear—you have to claim it.

Why This Matters:
Without intentional reflection, the new year can become a continuation of the same patterns, rather than a chance to create meaningful change. Taking the time now to look back on what worked, what didn’t, and what you want next gives you clarity and control to step into 2025 with purpose and direction.

How to Do It:

  1. Claim Your Time: Block a specific time to reflect—early morning, a quiet evening, or a specific holiday break day—and make this a non-negotiable gift to yourself.
  2. Create Your Space: Choose a space that encourages focus and introspection—a cozy corner, a favorite café, a peaceful outdoor spot or even a spa session for a little luxury. The goal is to feel calm and inspired.
  3. Prepare Your Tools: Bring what you need to help your meaningful reflection:  journals, photos, or mementos to review the past, and a fresh notebook or device to capture your insights.
  4. Reflect with Intention: Reflect month by month or focus on the most impactful moments. Ask yourself:
  • What worked well? What value did it bring to my life and the people I care about?
  • What didn’t go well? What do I regret, and what can I learn from it?
  • What can I improve next time?
  1. Design Your Vision for 2025:
Look ahead with clarity and purpose – What do you want the year stand for?
  • When you reflect back on this year, what achievements or experiences will make me proud?
  1. Set the First Steps:
Get specific about the key areas of focus for the start of 2025. What are the first steps you need to take to set yourself up for success?
  2. Share Your Plan:
Talk about your goals with someone you trust—a partner, friend, or mentor. Sharing your intentions makes them real and increases your accountability.

Thank You

To all our partners, participants, and supporters, thank you for making 2024 a landmark year. Together, we’re shaping a future where women lead with confidence, purpose, and intent. Here’s to an even brighter 2025!
